Dark dresser with beige drawers, antler decor, and organized items in a felt basket. “Bryson” on the wall in rope letters. Cozy vibe. western nursery, toddler, baby, country name sign DIY

This is such a simple DIY and I bet you have everything you need right at home! I love the character this added to my son's western themed nursery. You could do a name, a phrase, really anything. I made a similar one as part of his "first rodeo" birthday decor.

SUPPLIES

- Cardboard

- Acrylic paint (or any writing utensil)

- X-acto knife

- Twine (or yarn would work too!)

- Hot glue gun

STEPS

  1. Draw the name or phrase onto your piece of cardboard. Make sure it is thick enough that it will hold when being wrapped with twine/yarn.

  2. Cut using scissors or an x-acto knife.

  3. Starting at one end, hot glue your first few loops of twine to the cardboard.

  4. Continue wrapping twine around each letter. You may need to use hot glue in certain areas to keep it in shape.

  5. Hot glue the final little bit of twine at the end to secure.

  6. Hang or display!
