I love a good accent pillow but hate paying the steep prices. I spotted black sherpa fabric at Dollar Tree and was inspired to make these no sew pillows. Follow along with the video and steps below to make your own!
SUPPLIES
- Black fabric (I used 2 sherpa fabric squares from Dollar Tree)
- Chalk
- Hot glue gun
- Stuffing (I used stuffing from an old pillow)
STEPS
Lay out one piece of your black fabric, draw or trace the bat shape and cut.
Lay out the other piece of fabric and trace your other cut piece over it so they are identical. Cut.
Place the two pieces of fabric on top of each other so the side you want facing out (sherpa in my case) are touching each other. Basically, you want it inside out.
Use a hot glue gun to secure the edges, leaving a 2 inch gap for stuffing.
Turn inside out using the gap. You may need to use the eraser side of a pencil to get into any slim areas.
Stuff to desired fullness.
Use a hot glue gun to secure the gap.
Fluff and display!
