When I was pregnant with my daughter, I began dreaming about her nursery and how I was going to decorate the walls. I wanted to get creative and began thinking about what I could DIY instead of purchase. I knew I wanted some sort of display and stumbled upon these jumbo popsicle sticks at the Dollar Tree. I grabbed some wooden beads and my hot glue gun and came up with the cutest accordion display. It is literally SO easy to throw together and leaves you with endless possibilities to accessorize. I plan to decorate it differently each season. Scroll down to see what I added to celebrate the Fourth of July.
SUPPLIES
- Jumbo popsicle sticks (I used 12)
- Wooden beads (I used 10)
- Hot glue gun
- Small nails (I used sheetrock nails)
STEPS
Form three separate squares and hot glue each stick together.
Place the middle square on top of the corners of the other two squares and hot glue.
Add beads to each corner using hot glue.
Allow to dry 24 hours before hanging.
Using small enough nails to fit through each bead, hammer into the wall to secure.
